We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Operations Team and become part of the group responsible for implementing, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure supporting Act-On’s platform. If you like cloud computing, monoliths and microservices, you’ll have a chance to work with it all as we continue to modernize our technology stack. What You’ll Be Doing:  
  • Design and deliver engineering solutions for automated processes that orchestrate and manage the infrastructure under the Act-On Platform
  • Form working groups, be comfortable with direct open communications between many different departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance and Hardware Operations to deliver highly available, scalable continuous delivery systems
  • Troubleshoot, assess, and improve processes and systems within the infrastructure
  • Tackling Technical Debt, managing rolling release cycles, decomissions and system migrations
  • Perform maintenance and ensure uptime of our physical systems
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
Who You Are:  
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience
  • Eight years experience in an Operations role, with two or more years in a DevOps role
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS a plus
  • Puppet Community, Ansible, Jenkins & Terraform Community
  • AWS Infrastructure, Solution Architecture and Development, experience with AWS API
  • Linux server administration with RHEL/Centos, Amazon Linux 2023
  • Observability with Splunk, New Relic, Pingdom, Prometheus, OTEL
  • Coding Experience in Git, Python, Bash, Yaml, Java or HCL
Bonus Experience
  • Experience in managing high-capacity SMTP systems (Momentum / PowerMTA)
  • In depth understanding of IP protocol stack, DNS, LDAP, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection and Deep Packet Inspection
  • CommVault and/or AWS based data archiving
  • Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Jira)

Compensation:  
The anticipated annual compensation for this position will be $118,000-125,000. Compensation packages are based on a combination of factors, including the selected candidate’s skills, experience as well as internal and external equity.
