OPPORTUNITY

The Leadership Instructional Coach will play a critical role in partnering with district and school leadership to foster strong relationships that drive equitable instruction and academic success for all students through curriculum implementation support. This position requires a deep commitment to equity, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making aligned to district and school instructional strategies and initiatives.  This role will provide leadership coaching, develop and support execution of change management plans, and design and implement district-wide professional learning focused on implementation of Illustrative Mathematics. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional leadership and coaching skills, expertise in K-12 Math, and a passion for student achievement by supporting the professional growth of educators. The Leadership Instructional Coach will report to the Coaching Impact Lead and work alongside peer coaches.

 

TRAVEL

This role requires frequent travel to Philadelphia partner schools. On average, you can anticipate up to 10 travel days per month, which will fluctuate based on your portfolio of partner schools.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a K-12 Math instructional leadership coach for school and district leaders

      Provide leadership coaching to school and district leaders aligned to subject matter and instructional priorities with a focus on implementation of Illustrative Mathematics

      Cultivate relationships to strengthen alignment between school and district leadership

      Collaborate with leaders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance equitable instruction and student achievement through the use of math curriculum

      Coach school and district leaders on effective curriculum implementation including backwards planning, standards-based instruction, and the use of data to drive student achievement

      Design and lead professional development sessions for groups of school and district leaders, focusing on targeted outcomes and capacity building around curriculum implementation

      Work alongside ANet’s Sales team to ensure strong client engagement, conduct system reviews, and engage key decision-makers to identify trends, define scopes of work and optimize service alignment

      Develop tools, coaching strategies, and innovative ideas that improve ANet's ability to support schools and districts, aligning services with partner needs and priorities

      Document progress notes, plans and deliverables in accordance with ANet and partner determined guidelines

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

      Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

      Minimum 5 years of K-12 Math teaching experience; standards-based content knowledge

      Minimum 7 years of school and/or district leadership experience; professional development facilitation and equity-centered teaching practices

      Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

      Ability to think critically, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges

      Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships

Preferred skills:

      Experience implementing and/or teaching Illustrative Math Curriculum

The salary range for this position is between $99,144-$148,716. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($99,144-$123,930) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity.
