Position: Vice President of Veteran Programs
Reports to: Senior Vice President Sales

Job Description/Requirements:
As a Vice President of Veteran Programs you will:

  • Serve as a liaison with federal, state and local government Veterans Affairs health systems and related payers.
  • Have the overall responsibility of driving strategy, sales, and serves as a conduit for bringing information from AccentCare to key decision makers, executives, and other senior-level managers who analyze existing discharge planning practices, programs and policies, and recommend collaboration and/or changes to serve the veteran population.
  • Represent AccentCare to both veteran and non-veteran organizations; promoting Home Health, Hospice services, attendant services, and specialized programs. Be responsible for growth and success of VA Sales volume.
  • Be responsible for the growth and success of VA Sales volume by developing statewide outreach efforts and education that will enhance awareness of Home Health and Hospice resources; communicate information to all key administrative decision makers by liaising with Federal and State Veterans’ Programs, Resource Providers, and related Payers; coordinate and work with Veterans Service Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations, and other interested stakeholders to get and track feedback on stakeholders’ requests for services and specialized programs for their veterans.
  • Develop strategy to drive AccentCare sales across all Home Health, Hospice, and Personal Care Services business lines; engage sales leadership and staff across all service lines and regions to support local sales strategies in this market channel; and manage sales analytics and reporting to communicate progress towards growth objectives in this market channel
  • Research and recommend new and innovative ways to educate and provide Home Health, Hospice, and Personal Care Services to veterans and collaborate with Clinical, Market Development, and Sales teams to develop new programs.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

  • 7-10 years of experience in business development/sales
  • 2 – 5 years of experience working directly in/with VA health systems with working knowledge of their healthcare delivery processes, an understanding of key decision makers with prior relationships with key decision makers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration preferred
