The Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution/Technical Architect to lead the design, solutioning, and delivery of Salesforce solutions across client engagements. This role will serve as a subject matter expert, providing architectural guidance and technical strategy recommendations across Salesforce products, including Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. The architect will assess the current Salesforce landscape, identify gaps and opportunities, and design scalable solutions aligned with health plan operations and business goals.
Work You’ll Do
- Design Salesforce solutions leveraging Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud within a healthcare payer context
- Provide guidance on Salesforce data models, security, and best practices
- Evaluate and recommend integration approaches between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as claims platforms and EHRs
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and leadership to translate strategy into actionable recommendations
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive audiences
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution and technical architecture across assessments, implementations, and optimization engagements
- Partner with client stakeholders and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation approachesLead technical discovery and current-state architecture assessments, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Design scalable Salesforce solutions that are aligned with business requirements and Salesforce best practices
- Define system integrations, data models, security models, and deployment strategies across Salesforce and external systems
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, including code reviews, design guidance, and ensuring adherence to Salesforce architectural best practices
- Support business development activities including solutioning, level of effort estimates, and proposal development
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands on Salesforce platform experience, including architecture or lead developer roles, with deep expertise in Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Deep expertise in:
- Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs (REST/SOAP), Omni Studio
- Data modeling, sharing rules, and security architecture and best practices
- Integration patterns (middleware, ETL, event-based, Mulesoft preferred)
- DevOps / CI-CD tools (DevOps Center, Git, Copado, Gearset, etc.)
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions in healthcare or payer environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC, agile delivery, and technical governance
- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical assessments, gap analyses, and develop strategic roadmaps
- Experience supporting large scale Salesforce implementations or enterprise assessments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non technical stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Willingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client location
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
- Salesforce Architect Certification (Technical Architect, System Architect, or Application Architect)
- Salesforce Certified Health Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Integration Architect
- Experience integrating Salesforce with claims systems, EHRs, or other healthcare enterprise platforms
- Prior experience supporting Salesforce strategic assessments or transformation initiatives
