22squared is seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce Marketing Cloud Senior Consultant. The ideal candidate will have exceptional consultative solution design skills as well as technical implementation experience across the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.  In this role, you will partner internally with our media, analytics, strategy and technology teams to bring personalized communications to life in paid and owned channels. This role will require direct client collaboration and consultation in support of our Fortune 100 retail client. 



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, and proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects
  • Leads client data strategy to align with campaign, CRM and marketing objectives, including identifying audience insights, developing and maintaining taxonomy strategy and segmentation creation
  • Integrate data sources from multiple sources (DMP, Liveramp, etc.) to enable dynamic messaging and 1:1 marketing personalization
  • Architect data feeds, platform configuration, and components needed to run complex automated campaigns
  • Develop client use cases to maximize value of marketing tech stack;  Identify and vet new technical solutions as needed
  • Lead technology assessment of Salesforce tech stack, identify risks and recommend remedial measures
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding ongoing project status and solution development
  • Write and maintain functional documentation of customer business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
  • Participate in business and technical meetings
  • Provide timely status updates to project leadership
  • Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
  • Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices
  • Be able to estimate scope for development and solution design efforts
  • Conduct Solution reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets clients' business requirements
  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering solutions, through Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other technology solutions
  • Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proven track record of success implementing technical solutions and integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • 5+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration and/or implementation experience, with focused experience in Salesforce Audience Studio (Krux/DMP legacy), Journey Builder, Ad Studio and Email Studio
  • 3+ years experience with DMP implementation in lead technical and strategic roles
  • Experience leveraging DMP and other data sources to deliver personalized communications across display, email, website, etc.
  • 5+ years of client facing experience working on the solution design and execution of data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Technical background, Analytical, and Problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems quickly
  • Ability to work on all project phases of a project: Discovery, Design, Build, Test and Go Live
  • Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with documentation standards
  • Able to provide proof of at least one Salesforce.com certification
