Who We Need:

Motivated software quality assurance professional to ensure best software development practices are followed for our ServiceNow IT services platform.


What You’ll Spend Most of Your Time Doing

  • After your initial onboarding and acclimation to the team, you will work with a team of highly skilled IT professionals and software developers responsible for delivering and supporting solutions for federal and commercial clients.
  • You will use your software testing and validation skills to ensure the quality of software deployments
  • You will review proposed configuration changes and software updates for compliance to enterprise standards and practices
  • You will serve as the gate keeper to approve software releases to production
  • You will work assigned tasks as prioritized by management during each two-week Agile Sprint period 
  • Collaborate with other team members, operations staff, project managers, supervisors, and customer tenant teams 
  • Provide team leads with technical and schedule input to ensure activities proceed as needed 


As a Software QA / CM Administrator you will:

  • Assist leadership to guide customer and tenant development teams on software changes that impact the enterprise
  • Perform software/QA validation on proposed software changes
  • Review ServiceNow update sets to ensure proposed updates will perform according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines for the enterprise
  • Identify differences between established standards and best practices and suggest alternatives that conform to agree-to standards
  • Serve as configuration manager for ServiceNow enterprise instance
  • Manage software commits, approve releases, and execute production releases
  • Work directly with tenant developers to ensure all proposed software updates are approved and follow the best practices as defined by the enterprise
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Are You:

  • An IT professional with a Bachelor of Science degree and 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or configuration management?
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires regular interaction with customer leadership, program managers, and senior technical staff?
  • Someone with excellent oral and written communication skills?
  • A US Citizen who can obtain and maintain a public trust clearance?
  • It would be also be great if you:
    • Have knowledge of ITSM processes, procedures, and concepts
    • Are familiar with the ServiceNow platform
    • Are familiar with LDAP, Active Directory, and ADFS
    • Are familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Are familiar with relational databases and data structures
    • Are familiar with Agile Scrum development methodologies and processes

The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of time.
